white smoke is coming from the 3rd spark plug from front to back on the driver side directly from the hole does anyone have an idea what this could mean? I have a 307 y cutlass 83.

Pull the spark plug out and shine a flash light in there , see if you can any liquid. If the piston is too far down, turn the engine over by hand till it isn't.

What does it smell like ? Electrical or sweet? If sweet, its coolant and you have blown a head gasket

Smoke should not be able to come out of the spark plug hole if the head and spark plug are good. Are you sure it is coming from the spark plug hole?

I put brand new spark plugs in the mechanic had said that one of the old spark plugs was wet when he pulled it out. It's not a thick cloud but it's visible it can be coming out of the header area right under that spark plug. The motor shakes also I think it's miss firing but it runs Smooth I'm confused rn

if the plug was wet and your engine has a rough idle that could mean the plug isn't firing which could be a bad plug or wire or distributor cap and rotor
