My Cutlass has the Buick V6 231 and right now it has AC Delco R45TS's gapped at .040. The other day I happened to be looking at the manual for the car and in the Later Models/Revisions area it has the 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a Buick V6 231 using AC Delco R45TS8's gapped at .080.
I've checked on AC Delco's site and the 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a Buick V6 (VIN A, 231) uses R45TS's, but if I look up the 1981 Buick Regal with a Buick V6 (VIN A, 231) it uses R45TSX's (R45TS8's Replacement) gapped at .060.
My question is: Which spark plugs should I use in my Buick V6, the R45TS or the R45TSX?
