Hey guy! I have a stock 1985 Monte Carlo SS. It doesn't start and I believe it is a electrical problem. What kind of wires should I buy?

I asked the same question last year and a few guys recommended the MSD Streetfire wires so I took their suggestion and I'm very happy with the wires..

I like Taylor wires and they are still made in the USA.

I use to run the MSD wires until they shipped production to China.

The MSD Street Fire spark plugs wire are made in the USA. I would not touch the chinese made Street Fire distributor or ignition box.

Nice !!

I remember the last set I bought was overseas. Maybe 10-15 years ago

I gave them away and bought the Taylor wires after that.

I guess they seen a drop in sales and brought them back.

Before you spend money on things you may not need why do you think you need wires?

The car doesn't turn on. I think its not getting a park, when I turn the key, it sound like it wants to start but I get no ignition. I changed the spark plugs already, wires and rotor but they seem good. Carburetor is getting fuel but I am not sure why it does not start

Do you know how to test for spark with a screw driver? Or do you have one of these?
