Hi everyone hope ur projects are going great...I have a 1983 grand prix brougham and i want to upgrade my sound system I have some boss 4x10s I bought in amazon they sound horrible and im trying to spend the less money possible just want clear voice and good base. Also how can I remove my dash speakers since the gp dash is more complicated! Remember nothing to crazy on price! Thanks!!

I would get a pair of 4x10 to 6x9 adapters. After doing a handful of 80s GM speaker installs I can assure you the 4x10s will always suck, you will never get decent bass out of them that's for sure.

Once you order your 4x10 to 6x9 adapters, go on amazon or whatever and buy a pair of name brand 6x9s. I would spend 50-75$. They have a pair of Rockford Fosgates for 7% off, under 50$ shipped that have good ratings.

I've also done them without the adapters but it's a little bit more cutting and drilling. Getting 6x9s under that rear deck lid is definitely worth it in the end.

Quoted for truth.
Make life easy on yourself and pull the whole dash; it'll beat cutting your hands and wrists up trying to weasel them up from the bottom.
