Speedo drive

Enough is enough. Time to get the factory speedometer back in service in the wagon with the LT1 / 4L60E swap.

I’m getting the Dakota digital ECD-100.

Can anyone please tell me what cable connection type is on the back of the 79 Malibu speedometer? Is it clip on or screw on?

I have to old cable around here somewhere but can’t find it at the moment.

Finally got the speedometer drive motor in. It works great. Setup and calibration was easy using the app. The one we installed is ECD-200BT. Bluetooth connection to iPhone app for calibration.

Thanks for the compliment. Its not a show winner for bling but things are secured and protected to maximize reliability. Its all from a 94 z28 Including the 4L60e.

did you mount the air filter, air inlet hose behind the headlight or did you cut a hole thru the fender liner?
