This is Tony Sherrys husband.

Her Grand Am needs spoiler help. Asking for some pics if you have them.

Silver on the bottom is just foil so she could get an idea of what i was thinking. 80s gm scheme. She wants a gray instead.

LS swap. Going with a GTO as the donor. 1 inch difference in wheelbase. Thinking ex sys and driveshaft. The gto oil pan deminsions are real close to the CTSv pan. Want to keep factory manifolds. Will need Blackheart eng/trans mounts just in case none if it fits. Want the ls2 but ls1 will do. Automatic. Holley sniper termX to control all of it. GTO rad etc should fit with persuasion. Trying to keep costs down but will off the shelf the fuel system. Ac will be gto factory compressor condenser with vintage air evap under dash.

The 301 has 106k. It runs well. Trans is soild. Once i secure a gto donor ill be looking for a pontiac in need to donate to. Will be a while but post up if youre close to houston.

Once i source the gto ill start a swap thread.

Shes excited.

TIA

You could also fabricate one out of aluminum, fiberglass or even PVC and 3M panelbond works well to hold things together.

If you know of a metal fabricator ( guy with a shop in the garage as a side gig.) Or a shop with a large-ish metal bender? That or if you can look at a Monte Carlo SS fin that can get modified? Look up duck spoiler for GP/ GA.

I kinda feel something like the early third gen Firebird rear spoiler looked good on the '78-'81 Pontiac coupes. Saw a LeMans in a late '80's/early '90's HotRod that looked good with it. A personal idea for on of these cars would be adding scoops to the hood like a second gen GTO but that's going to be some dedicated metal work.

You thinking the 68-70 GTO? Or the the later years( mid 70’s) that inset into the hood? There is a “tall” duck wing from a company for 08’ Chargers ( looked for a friend) but the quality was lacking. But this??

'68-'70 but even the '71/'72 are similar. I feel that Pontiac should of had something like that on those cars. Not really a fan of the '73 "jack o' lantern flat ones.

I borrow from any and everyone if it makes it look different from everyone else’s. Used a 2.2 Charger scoop, MCSS on a Cutlass, Mustang on a Dodge. If it looks cool use it.

I know of a 69’ hood just don’t know what he’d want for it. Also has a Z28/camaro hood with scoop. Here is something I’ve been looking at doing. Like I said, I borrow off everyone
