1985 Cutlass 307 4 barrel carb car starts up great cold on fast idle then it reaches the warm up point the idle starts to flutter then stalls out will restart but then stalls again
I put a rebuilt Q/jet carb on new base gasket checked for vacuum leaks none found adjusted air/fuel mixture

Start the engine and look at the choke flap. It starts out cold totally closed. When the engine starts the choke pull-of opens the flap just a little to give it air. From that point on the choke opens slowly until it is wide open. By then the engine should be warm enough to run without any choke action. If it is an electric choke make sure it is getting 12 volts and is grounded properly. A re-builder may have put the hot air choke gasket under the housing cover. That will keep an electric choke from grounding and it will stay closed.

This is a hot air choke and the flap is closed when cold and opens as it warms up the idle speed is up when cold after it reaches warm temp it starts to flutter then stalls will restart but then stalls again

I would ask the retailer about the issue, you paid them so they should help you
the only thing possibly is that I took a spacer plate off of the intake manifold when I installed the quadrajet is it possible that this performer intake needs that spacer

before doing any adjustments I would speak with the retailer, you paid for it and they have an obligation to help you out. If you start making adjustments they could try to put the blame on you and stop the conversation
