So while installing my manifold i kinda dropped it on the starter and forgot to disconnect my battery. I melted the wire. I removed the wires and put the nuts “here” so i wont lose them

Problem is i forgot where “here” was! I fixed the wires and cant find the nuts

Anyone know what sizes they are?
I think the big one is M8-125.

Please help (again)

Thx

I may have found the answer
Its either 10-32 or M5 x .08 ( not definitive so i will try both)
And the big one is either 5/16-18 or m8-1.25
Will buy em all

Next time just be more careful where you put your nuts.

I hear tell that some guys have their significant others help out in the garage with their projects (not me!). Maybe yours is like my wife, always trying to re-organize; maybe she moved your nuts?

I always keep a couple of these around that I get from HF just to put small stuff in since many times I don't know when I will have time to reassemble something.

We used little bags like these on aircraft, you put all the hardware for the panel or part you removed in the bag and tied it to the panel or part so the hardware was not lost. I still have a few and have used them on the GP when I had the body off so I could keep the body bolts and shims in their right place.
