Steering box removal

How do i remove the steering box that the shaft connect to from the column on a 85 cutlass? It look like it just bolt on from the outside of the DS frame but I want to make sure before I mess something up

That's it - 3 big bolts running through the frame. Disconnect the Pittman arm, Power Steering connections, and and the steering shaft, and IIRC, that's all.

X 2, you may need a fork to remove that pitman arm

Use a pitman arm removal tool. Even with the right tool, it's not easy.
