Stock gear ratios

Being Gbody enthusiasts I'm sure many of you know there were a small number of Cutlasses offered with a 5 speed manual ( Borg Warner T50 ) behind the powerhouse 260. I'm trying to find out what gearing came standard in those cars and what the gear ratios of the transmission are. Thanks.

I've never heard of a factory 5 speed stick in a G body Cutlass

Yeah they made em. Only available behind the 260. My friends got one but he doesn't know the answer to my question so I'm asking here.

Here's an interior pic. Notice the straight shifter compared to the curved one that came with the Saginaw 4 speeds.

It only happened in the late-'70s models.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer either. Just chiming in on their existence.

You are right, in 78 they built some. I have seen the T50 in Monza's and cars in that class but never expected to see the 65 lbs transmission in a car with the weight of a G body. Why not remove the cover on the rear end to check the gear ratio.

I know of ways of figuring out gear ratios but I don't have car here to do that. Besides, why go through all the trouble of doing that when someone else who knows could just tell you!!!

I saw that website before but wasn't sure if the Gbody transmission was different.
