First I have too many cars. I mean far too many. So many that I have to move them around regularly. So what better way to move a project that doesn't run... A tractor that doesn't run!!!!

Of course now that I can move much larger vehicles with said non functional tractor it seemed appropriate to.....

I have a 1957 850, looks about the same, needs resto, but still runs at least

Was looking at a 1956 F600 today.......

8N is more tractor than you might first assume. The one at my house has been used by 5 generations.
How did you ever manage to do that to the tire?

Cool. I had a Ford 600. If you need parts there is a place near me in Pavo Ga. T&H Tractor
I live in a farming area and my buddy has about 20 or so old tractors.
I don't think a 600 as it has a flat head. I am thinking 8N of f of the top of my head. If you mow with it get an over-runnibg clutch on the PTO

its a 52 8N. The tires are completely dried out. It doesn't run, and the guy handed me the starter in 3 pieces with the armature destroyed. So I cant even do anything with it yet. I have an overrunning clutch already.

I do need some parts for my F600. Its a 57. The fender well is destroyed at the battery tray where the acid ate it up. Needless to say so it the battery tray. I can probably make a patch panel for the fenderwell. I need the practice anyway, but a battery tray is a must. Then its just odds and ends. I have the original keys for it even. I will need the 2 speed unit for the rear end I was told. It has the Eaton. Ill look more into it when I get it home, sometime after Christmas

Cool thing you'll find about 8Ns is that parts are easy to come by.

Yes, and they are everywhere around here. Just sitting in people's yards. It's funny to see one with a mower attached to it, drowning in weeds and grass. I love the irony
