Stored for the winter..

Yep,the Monte got put away yesterday in my winter storage place.
On Tuesday I fly to Alberta for the winter,I'll be gone at least six months.
Its getting real busy out there so I hope to make lots of money and take next summer off again !!
Plans are already in place to pull the 513 big block out next year for an overhaul and fix the smoking/burning oil issue that I've been having..
I don't plan on making any changes as this combo works very nice,lots of torque and turns up to the rev limiter setting of 6500 RPM like the proverbial freight train LOL
I'm hoping that its something simple like intake gaskets or valve seals.

I drive a water truck in the Western Canada oil patch.
Haul water for the drilling rigs,its used for making "mud",cleaning,and for the boiler when its cold.

Well tonight is my last night at home for the next six months or so
Other than a few glitches with the Monte I had a great summer.
I had the last six months off and got lots accomplished.
We got a few camping trips in and spent a week by the ocean in a cottage owned by the wifes cousin.
All the yard work got done and I cut approximately 3 cord of firewood for our outdoor firepit.
Now most of the outdoor stuff gas been winterised,covered and put away.
Now its time to start making plans for next summer !!
