Strange noise......what is it

A Buddy came over and we looked at the car again. He set the tv cable for me and after further inspection (from a more experienced mechanic) noticed the exhaust was making the noise. I let him drive the car since he's more of a mechanic than me. Trans shifted fine. Everything is all good. Just need motor mounts and some exhaust work.

The old man had one when I was growing up (it was brown, 383 4bbl) but land yacht might be a better term it.

I count any coupe or sedan over 4500lbs as a boat.
