What is this summer you talk of? We're lucky to have more than a day with out rain, Atleast third "summer" in a row.

Nothing but rain, rain, rain, humid, rain, clouds, then rain here.

Bahhhh. It got all the way up to 73* at my house today so I decided to do a little pre-fireworks fire prevention.

Your radiator cap is not on right! Do you have a overunder on that 8n? Rain here with humidity. Only got up to 75° here today. There is a lot of ruined first cutting hay here, and fields that did not get planted.

Any of you old enough to remember MTV when they played videos? Every year on the first day of summer since this song came out (1984) I've watched this video or listened to the song. Not that it was about the first day of summer, but it was just one of those quirky tunes I couldn't get out of my head. Ever.

First Day of Summer- Tony Carey (formerly of Planet P). Enjoy!

Just out of frame to the right is a row of cottonwood trees and the cap snagged a branch. No overunder.

We had a pretty wet spring here too. Not sure about anything being ruined but the corn all around me went in late.

I always wanted to hotrod one. Have you ever seen a Funk conversion 8n, or a half track? Look them up, very cool. I just sold my WD reverse tractor for a big loss. Antique tractors are not worth selling any more. Back to the topic. It is raining here again and 60°. Should be 85 and dry right now!

Learned to drive on an IH Farmall cub when I was 10. Toy tractor for my grandfather's 'gentleman's' farm in Vermont. I have the T-shirt, 'Crops are green. Tractors are red.'

To this day, the sound of it running is burned into my mind. Probably the hydraulic pump. Unsynchronized three-speed. Mowed for decades with a lethal side sickle bar. Clackety-clack.
My cousin inherited it fifteen years ago, tore it down to parade rest, sandblasted and painted it, then put it back together using spares from a donor. Happy about that, although it is now relegated to hauling a modern deck mower around his retirement farm.
Sorry for the flashback. I return you to your previously-scheduled weather report.
