I've been using a CS130 alternator for the past three years and I've yet to have issues with it. Mine is made by AC Delco, just make sure you get a good quality unit. Looks like you have what you need. Also you'll either need to modify your existing alternator bracket or get a rod-end style one. And the serpentine pulley will need to be replaced with a v-belt pulley if you're using belts.

Anyone hear of DB Electrical? Good/Bad reputation?

They sell a Si-10 105 amp with 60 amp output at idle for 63 buxx shipped.

I would use the plug with the inline resistor...that's if you go with a CS alternator. There's also the CS140 unit which puts out 140 amps. But I think the CS130 is sufficient enough to power electric fans and such....the CS140 would probably be better if you're running a high powered amplifier.

I have heard of DB electric...I think they sell their stuff on Ebay. I believe the newer alternators run cooler than the 10si and 12si units.

I don't know why all the high amp alternators are fashioned after the 10SI, should have been the 12SI. I have found they just don't last. Either get a factory replacement which is a CS130 for a 88 Cutlass. This one should last better than the one you showed.https://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-811001

Other than the part numbers, they both spec out the same. Same output, exact same measurements, etc. Hmmmm, marketing ploy maybe lol!
