Thinking about going to a forged or foose type wheel

Well I like the look of the all black wheel and considered it for my Monte, but assuming you currently have 15" steel wheels I would probably look for an all aluminum rim in all black.
Not knowing what style rims you are actually considering or even what size you need maybe something like this ARE VN501 will work

Also maybe consider some used race rims like Convo Pros or Weld wheels and then get them powder coated black or blast them and paint them.

From your initial post I figured maybe you planned on drag racing with your car (since you have yet to state purpose of the car or look you are going for) if that is the case then I wouldn't bother replacing steel rims with different steel rims save some unsprung weight and get a forged aluminum rim and get them powder coated black if you want.
Nothing against soft 8's but that seems like a lateral move to me.
