Not sure if I want to LOL, or start listing my own stash. o_O I remember a time you could buy these with dealer discount for around <$29 per pair. I get that secondary markets have their own prices based on S&D, but just friggin' wow. And I'm not sure exactly what "studs" he's talking about here since they don't have any...

I’ve run into that ALOT lately. Like $225.00 for an original uncommon 79 dash mounted w/w delay switch. My cars had a few parts that must have been 79 only. But those headlight doors are totally insane.

Would it be pissy to send him the link to GBodyParts $140 repros and offer him a reasonable $200 for NOS?

That and a bunch of...:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: (someone should remind him there's not GOLD under that chrome)

Sad part is, the T83 version (low-gloss black inlay) was the same exact price as the all-chrome version back in the day.

I remember back 25 years ago or so a friend who worked at the parts counter at my local GM dealer said the higher ups are selling off all of the older parts. I bought out all of the Grand National specific pieces and some 442 stuff including NOS rims (which I just had to put one into use this year). Never imagined this stuff would be going for these prices today.

So reading the title to his auction...Are the headlight bezels different between a T-Top car and a hard top????

Absolutely not. The black inlay versions were standard for Calais/Salon up through 86. T-tops had no effect on where these were used. Only requirement it that it was for a G47 body style. 81-86.
