Hi everybody,

I just want to publish my facebook-website I just created:

"AMERICAN CARS OSTALB"

It's a community of american car enthusiasts here in Germany located in the 'Ostalb' area.
The Ostalb is a district with a population of about 310,365 in the south of Germany on the boarder to bavaria. The area is about 589 sq mi.

We're about 44 members so far with all kinds of cars. We really love 'the american way of drive' here in Germany.
Daily seen cars here are Diesels like BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, other Euros and lot of Japanese cars. You don't see many cars from the US over here. Most reason is the gas price here - it's about $US 8.20 for only 1 gallon.
So one fill-up for my 4.7 Grand Cherokee is about $US 175..

Here a few cars of our group (older pic - we're already few more cars):

I really appreciate your supporting click on the "like"-button on Facebook "American Cars Ostalb".

Thank you guys! 😎

Take care and greetings from overseas,
-Kevin - founder of "American Cars Ostalb"

hope the site goes well for your group. I was staioned in Karlsruhe from 1986-1989, and my wife is from Pforzheim. when I was there, I always used to joke about how the americans loved the european cars, and the europeans loved the american cars!

I remember downtown karlsruhe, there used to be a small car dealer that had alot of older cars, including 2 matching 1953 F1 pick-ups that were mildly customized, and a showroom condition 1972 cadillac fleetwood (not sure just how that one fit on the side streets  )
