Swapping a 700r4 in place

Leaning towards the 700r4 swap
I have everything I need except a shifter

I’m wondering if my stock three speed shifter will work or will I need a four speed auto shifter

If so, does anyone know where I can get one
My el camino is currently equipped with a console mounted floor shifter
