Switching to a trans with a passenger side speedometer cable fitting. How much longer does the cable have to be?

Would suggest using a small rubber hose and see how much you need to add to your current set-up

the guys with a 66 Impala and a Muncie with the speedo on the right side used a 73" cable. The previous years with the cable on the left side was 55", so the difference was 18"

Keep in mind the extra length to clear the exhaust & driveshaft in the tighter fit area under our cars besides just being able to reach the driven gear.
