Taillight touch up

Anybody know the best way to touch up taillight silver and black . What is the best paint to use and any tips on how to do it

A scotchbrite, lots of blue masking tape and lots of patience

Separate the outer black plastic piece from the taillight, then you can use the black spray paint for plastic on the outer piece to freshen it up. I've used silver pinstriping tape for outlining the silver accent parts. This year, I freshened up a set of '81 taillights, and I managed to get some pinstriping tape that looks like chrome, to stripe the edges. Turned out pretty well. Patience is important.

Be very careful separating them if you choose to
