I have a 1980 cutlass 4 door and I'm tackling the rear end and figured that Id replace the shocks what's the easiest way to do this ?

Unbolt and replace, not sure what exactly are you asking for directions or are you having a problem taking them off? There are two bolts at the top of the shocks and a stud at the bottom. Remove the upper bolts and lower nut and remove the shock, reverse for installation.
