Anybody here ever used the TCI Breakaway 10" converter with the anti-balloon plate in a TH350 or TH400? What was your engine combo and what stall did you get. This thing was billed as an 11" in some descriptions and 10" in others. It turns out to be a 10" in real life. I sure am hoping that it is actually 2400-2600rpm stall as advertised. I will assume that I will get the max stall out of it with my engine, but I also hope it doesn't actually stall 3000rpm or more because that is totally unnecessary for my combo.

Any feedback?

I've heard some people say the name 'breakaway' is accurate because they come apart.

I have a Pro Torque in my SRT8. I wonder what their secret is? Better Torrington bearings? Better furnace brazing? I can tell you that my Pro Torque is nothing but a recycled 9.5" NAG5 converter with the addition of a billet stator.

After some research I see that the ProTorque that I bought for $950 about 8 years ago now costs $550. Maybe I should have looked a little harder.
