TH 400 speedometer drive gear clip?

I found 2 different clips that look the same but one is wider and since my race trans came with no drive gear I need to install one.
Anyone know which one is correct for the TH400?
The GM part numbers are below each one

Everything I'm coming up with for M40 (TH400) is GM p/n 8626089 for the speedo gear drive clip from 1960s on up to the 3L80. It was 15 cents MSRP back in 1972!!! Not so cheap anymore.
