Hey gang,
I picked up this ‘86 Pontiac Bonneville for a song. I’ll be transferring an LC2 ‘87 Turbo Regal drivetrain into this
It currently has an NA 3.8 with a 200
Objective is to create a “patina sleeper” and this car is a perfect candidate. Showing 37k on the clock it’s incredibly solid with the right “annoying “ patina in fugly brown.
Interior is in excellent condition, with ZERO options.....not even pulse wipers lol.
Goal here is to build a mid to low 10’s 4 door street pounder.

That will be a great sleeper! You will have your work cut out getting in the low 10's - 9in ford will do.

I plan on retaining Pontiac hub caps too. Along with the cheesy mud flaps.....keep the car as obnoxious as looking as possible
If I can’t build a 8.5 with a 30 spline Eaton, I may very well go 9”
Have to retain a reasonable budget. Famous last words I know😁

Looks like a nice clean, solid looking old peoples Bonneville. It's going to make one hell of an unpretentious sleeper...especially with the ugly stock hubcaps and mudflaps. I could only imagine the look on the guy's face lining up to you in his GN or T-Type.
8.5 rear ends have become almost unobtanium...or stupid expensive.

Agreed, only available for a few yrs.
I’m not out to hurt other Gbody guys lol
But would love to take down a HC or 2😁
