the 84 buick regal was bought around 2010 maybe, it was white but rusty from tree and leave falls. i bought it from a couple who did not want to sell it due to it belonging to they son who went to iraq and never maid it back. eventually from stoping everyday and asking for them to sell it they agreed. the dad said 2500, and to not tell the wife how much but incase if she did ask, that i was only paying him $600. so while shooting the sh*t the wife comes out with the title and keys and i hand her $2500 and she kindly said it was only $600. so i pocketed my $1900 and took it home. lol. so then we choppd the top off and inserted a bmw top to make it a custom convertible lowrider. eventually after i got tired of the lowrider look i discovered there was grand nationals and fell in love with them. and of course out of my budjet i desided to make it a grand national clone.
the 85 grand national was a friends of mines who is use to beamers benz and bentleys. one day at his house he said im tired of that car and having to keep up with covering it and uncovering it, when rains coming, and that not every mechanic wanted to deal with it. so i told him how much? he said 12k i told him 8k and i would do repairs on his duplex rental. i thought he would say no but he said bring him 4k and the rest in payments and for me to do all his sheetrock, tape and float and no paint. and i came home with it. and the rest is on here under a post titled Burnt lol. but the cars seems to have stop smoking just drives a little rough so the quest is not over yet untill he feels like my gmc truck! i cleaned the top and i got to say WOW what a change, makes the car look better
