Hello to all

Not sure if anyone that frequents this section is following my thread over on the build forum section but this is my 84 regal. Yes it has a 81-83 header panel. Finally got around to dropping the car off to Maaco last Friday. Went and picked it up today. I blame myself for any visible imperfections because I did whatever body work I felt needed to be done. I am not a body man at all........ I purchased the in the flat black paint seen in pics. I really should have took it down to see what was hidden beneath but didn’t feel the need to. Car is a driver, far from a show car.

It came out okay overall. Main area of concern is the driver side. It has quite a few flaws and is cracking pretty bad in some spots.but not enough for me to sand the car down and re paint it. They color matched all the trim.. I’m not excited about having to mask and repaint the trim but I should have gave more detailed direction.

I'm impressed that they did the door jambs. Do you know what paint they used? I think the one I visited in DE had Sherman Williams....
What they charge?

Still looks pretty decent. Nice thing about white it it hides flaws better than any other color so it gets things by for now.

As long as you're happy that's all that matters. I had 2 cars painted at Maaco.

Care to tell us what they charged you?? From my couch in Houston, Tx, I think it looks 1000% better than when you dropped it off.

Thanks guys. I ended up around $790 out the door. That’s including doorjambs and the trunk
