Well it’s finally officially official. Olds Cool is in her new home for the winter.

Still doing some cleaning of The Skunkworks, but expect progress to start on The Juggernaut shortly.

Wow, floor scrubber is doing a kickass job man. Looking good! Now, onto Juggernaut mods. Can't wait to see what's next, especially the interior.

Thanks Scott!

Ok, so Injectedcutty kinda let a little spoiler slip, was gonna post this in the “what did you do to your shop today” thread, but I guess it’s going here instead.

Drug home this ancient 1950’s floor scrubber from work yesterday, and Olds Cool wasn’t out of the garage but 20 minutes before I got started on cleaning the floor.

Here’s what the floor looked like before, nearly 20 years of dirt, grime and overspray has left it looking pretty shabby:

Last night I got roughly 2/3’s of the one side done before I shut it down for the evening. What a difference!!

This morning while the floor was still dry, I went after the paint and POR 15 spots, and some of the edges and corners with some 120 grit sandpaper on the DA. Then finished off the one half, and cleaned the accessible side of the big door while I was at it.

To say The Skunkworks was disgustingly dirty would obviously be a major understatement. It’s been a bit of work already, but SOOOO worth it. It’s feeling amazing to get my shop clean and back in tip top shape again!

Next is to finish off the edges on this side, then get The Juggernaut up on the car dollies and moved over. Then repeat the whole process on the other side. Once that’s done, I’ll reseal the floor and get a couple coats of wax on it to help protect it for another couple of years.

THEN it’ll be onto the car!
