After 2 weeks on the road for work I came home stoked to get the new driveshaft in and get everything ready for a first fire up.

I made a small error on the order. I could have gone with a 3.5" shaft, after re-reading the exhaust instructions I discovered this. 😡

But it's pretty.

Second error was my measuring of the yoke in the center section. Not a 1350. So I need to order a yoke. 😡😡

Disappointment and frustration is abundant right now.

Meh details . . . though I got my shaft right other than the "I could do my bench press work out with it" part, it is nice to know we can all share in your "do over" pain. Do It Twice, Garth

Got a few things done today. Swapped the lower control arm mount bolts around and adjusted the exhaust so the mufflers sit a bit more flat, the body clearance is better now too. Made some suspension adjustments, set the rear lower arm mounts to the second bolt hole, see how it likes that.

Mounted up the trans cooler, a Derale unit with fan.

Totally recommend this little unit, comes with everything you need to cool your trans. Bolted on side to the cross member and made a bracket for the other side. Need a couple 90s for the trans side and it'll be all flanged up for start up. Installed a 300PSI Amazon pressure sensor in the trans pressure port so I can monitor it as I have a vacuum modulator that probably needs some adjustments still.

Once again waiting for parts...

Might start hanging fenders Sunday and get started finishing the under dash wiring.

Hmmh, never knew they had the hang under the car coolers? Learn something every time . . .

Went to the 4 row and the transmission runs nice and cool but I suspect that will change if/when I actually start abusing it?

It's a universal mount cooler. The fan is bi-directional so it will pull or push. Real estate is getting tight under the hood so I wanted another solution, the intercooler and turbo piping is going to take any extra room up.
