the old lower radiator hose issue again

have weiand twisted snout water pump on my big block chevy(1980) malibu is the car it"s in ..having trouble finding a lower rad hose..as theoutlet on the pump looks to be 1& 3/4 inches.anyone have any suggestions...thanks

Put a very thin coat of vaseline on the snout and the inside of the hose then twist/slide it on.

I have the same problem with my lower hose and water pump in my Malibu

i used Gates 22542,it's 1.75 at both ends
