Thinking of dechroming my Regal

I was bored and started messing around in Photoshop. I think I want to change all my chrome trim. I don't want to go all T-Type and do the normal Black. I want to do a medium metallic grey paint. I cleaned out the third bay in my garage and pulled the Regal in to start the tear down/repaint and the LS1 conversion. I have some thinking to do. What would you do? I am going back same original color or something really close.

As you wish. I am going to get rid of these 16" OER GTA wheels and go with the Hawks 17x9 GTA wheels. I don't like the black versions because you cannot see the detail of the spokes. I will buy gold again and maybe repaint the centers if I do the dechrome.

Looks really nice without the chrome. I personally like the black wheels but don't hate the gold ones. Nice Regal.

I have always liked the gold mesh wheels but on yours they look better matching your gray chrome.
It looks like your door side molding was already gray is that the color of your interior?

I agree with staying the same color, as I've always liked that red on a g-body. I also tend to agree on the wheels:with the chrome, I like them better in gold, but with the chrome painted, they look a little odd without the dark centers.

BTW, beautiful Regal, no matter how you look at it!

My car is a factory W02, but my dad removed the door guards and the factory pin stripe on mine when he repainted it and it looks better, more mean.

I would leave the bumper and grille chrome. Black painted bumpers and blacked out 84-86 grilles look "cheap" on a colored car.
