Took the liberty to add up their parts list.
$7,754.24
They had $131.96 wrapped up in just the shift lever and knob. 45 bucks for the knob.
If I ever accomplish a swap, I hope to spend no more than 4k. Junk yards and swap meets will be involved. At least for the shifter. lol. If I ever spend 7.7k on getting a trans in, it's either going to have another engine on it or new rear behind it.

Mmmmmmmmm. Billettttttttt.

For my original manual conversion, I pulled the short bolt out of the brake pedal bushings, swapped in a longer bolt, and installed the stock manual brake pedal on the left side of the bracket. I can make some drawings if anyone wants to fab a pedal for themselves.

I looked at the price of just the pedal assembly, and almost fell over. Nice stuff, but to much $$$$$.

I used a fleabay el camino clutch petal with a tick master to put the t56 in my ss. I had to weld a extra braket for adjustment befor i bought the tick setup. It works like a champ!! If i had bought the tick setup first it would have worked without the extra braket. You just have to reinforce the firewall where the master goes through it! Its been working great for 35000 miles so far. 410 gears 2100 rpm @80 mph!!
