Depends on the back spacing more than the actual width. I think 3.5 inch for 8 inch wide rims and 4.5 inch for 10 inch rims if I recall correctly. Hopefully someone will come around and clear it up for sure. I need to get some wheels for all of my cars, think I'm going to put stock C3 Corvette alloys on my El Camino, Weld Pro Stars on my T Type, and aluminum

What were they on or purchased for originally? The easy answer is 8 or 8.5 inch wide rims are not too wide and can look really good but the width alone isn't the whole story.
