just pick up a pair Cooper GT 235/60/15 from walmart for 91.00 a piece for the front...good price, but i forgot to inquire with great minds first so now i'm wondering if didn't jump the gun and they are to big /wide for the front end of my 87 cutlass. sooo..guys will they work / rub or not

Just for comparison I had 235/60R15 Cooper Cobras on a 8" rim on the front of my Regal with no issues and 275/60 on the rear.

My Malibu came with 235-60 on 8.5” on the front. Didn’t rub when I drove it and didn’t look like they ever had.

I have a 79 malibu with 235,s on 8 '' rim and they rub a little . When it had 205,s didnt rub at all . could be my front springs are a little soft [ wore out ] . lol

I have a set on 7" wide at all four corners & never had any issues when they were on the road. Back in the day this was the go to size for 15" wheels.
