I have a 1979 Chevy Malibu stock front suspension with only Bilstein shocks I'm running American Racing 17 x 8 torque thrust wheels up front with 235 50 17 inch tires and I'm getting tire rub on dips and like turning so we a 215 50 17 Tire be better or a 215 45-17 Tire work better?THANKS

Seeing a lot of tire questions lately, been covered countless times on here.

Neutral offset or 4.5" backspace would be a start on an 8" rim. If that checks out i would focus on correcting the front geometry (camber curve) so the front tires "tuck" during suspension travel and turning instead of leaning out.

Our stage 1, 2 and Ultimate front end kits do this in various stages of degrees.
