Has anyone had to replace a broken tire stud? One of my studs broke off my 82 MC. what is the easiest way?
 
Tire stud?

If you mean wheel stud, they're pressed in & are an interference fit. Replacing or servicing usually requires removing the part & using a hydraulic press or a combination of different home tools if working from home/in the driveway (c-clamp; impact hammer; HD hammer; vise).

yes one of the 5 studs broke off when i was tightening the lugs.. i saw some videos where they where easily tapped out after removing brake caliper
 
The right way buy pulling the axle and pressing it in and out - OR - beat it out and pull the new one in using the lug and a spacer. If you could find something to space in-between the axle flange and the tube it would prevent the C clip from being hammered on.

They shouldn't easily be able to be tapped-out; it should require some effort.

One might also be able to access the stud by simply removing the caliper depending on the vehicle & year model but not for these g-bodys. The front caliper, rotor, wheel bearings will have to be pulled to completely access the front studs. The rear will require removing the drum + possibly the axle depending on ability to access the broken stud & the level of difficulty required to remove it (refer to the first statement).

Got it done removed caliper and tapped out easily thx
 
its the front drivers side
Two suggestions, lug stud installer bearing. This works great. Its a bearing that uses a lug nut.

Or you use a sacrificial lug nut and some washers to pull the stud in.
