Hi folks
I recently began my TKO swap into my G body and found out you can reuse your stock cross-member. You just need a cut off wheel, a welder and some patients.

1) cut off your stock trans mount at the welds
2) remove about an inch from the front portion
3) notch the bolt hole for adjust-ability
4) bolt in cross-member
5) Turn mount upside down from stock position and bolt mount to trans
6) tack weld it to cross-member once everything is properly situated
7) remove cross-member and fully weld mount in place
8) enjoy the fact that you saved yourself $250 by not buying an fancy aftermarket cross-member.

happy motoring

These projects are my favorite. Simple, relatively fast time savers. I actually did basically the same thing on my t56 swap.
