What are you guys using for removing spot welds? Regular drill bits or spot weld cutters? If you don't mind sharing, I'd like your "best" suggestion based on what you've tried and like best.

I've used both IMO the best is a 1/16 drill bit followed by a sharp 3/8 bit to drill out the spotweld.

When I was still in the shop I always used spot weld cutters, Blair brand are the best, drill 1/8 hole to hold the pin. I always used a air drill, cordless drills are to under powered and plug in type drills apin to fast and will wear out the cutter quickly. Nice thing with a cutter once you get the feel for it you will only put 1/8 hole in the underlying panel

X2 I have always used the Blair cutters and and air drill. It does take a little practice, 1st few you will cut through both layers...
