Hi I new to the forum I have 1982 buick regal v6 4.1L 252 Cid original motor and transmission .. Well I bought new ARP cylinder head bolts and as its recommended 70lbs torque down which we got down.. But me and my dad was wondering what is the final torque down angle should set be at? I look all over Google and I can find anything and figure if you guys can at least help me out. Trying to look for the angle specs values other than the 70lbs. I torque them down to 70lbs but didn't get the last torque down since it sit at a certain degrees angle that I don't know and can't find. If yall can help me out I be ready to put everything back together. I'm using a digital torque bar. My dad hates this one he like the other one that makes the clicking. Thanks.

You can call and ask ARP,but I think you will find that there is no angle torque specs for the older stuff.
The 70 lb torque spec is very likely exactly what it is supposed to be.

Yes I torque them down at one shot ppl.. say it should be 3 times on each bolt but I wasn't sure where excatly the final exact torque would be at.. I guess my dad is confuse about the torque values angle. On each bolt I torque at 70lbs and that was it and wasn't sure if I should go more or what cause it beeps at read light.
