I own a '78 Cadillac Eldorado that used to belong to my grandfather. I found out that he once towed a Bobcat with it lol. It has a transmission cooler/tow package but that still surprised me he did that. It obviously didn't hurt it cause the car still runs good and has no transmission issues. It's FWD too which I think is hilarious considering how much weight. I think the trailer was probably 1500lbs+ alone and whatever a standard Bobcat weighs.

Isn't it amazing how tough they made cars back then?

You can tow very heavy weights at or below 55 mph with just about anything. I used to tow muscle cars 500 miles one way to national meets with a 100 Hp '84 AMC Eagle... when the speed limit was 55 mph.

With less than 15% of the trailers weight on the tongue, things can get ugly fast above 55 mph.
