hey just wondering if it’s better for me to put in a turbo 350 or a turbo 400 and would I need to do any mods to fit it in also my horsepower will be 350 on a 350 block

TH350 uses less hp and it's lighter than a Th400. For your HP a TH350 will handle that without a hiccup.
As for Mods, depends on vehicle and transmission that's in it now. Also tailstocks vary on different trannies.
