REGAL transmission time

Does anybody know what trans came with the stock 305 in a ln 86 regal or a trans i can put in it??

If it's a 3 speed, it's either a th350c, th200c, or th250. if it's a 4 speed (D) D 2 1, it's a 200r4.

You could not get a 305 SBC Regal in 1986. They got a 307 Olds for a 5.0L.

So there are Canadian Parts books and Canadian repair manuals, too? I never even thought of that. Canadian cars never switched to olds 307's? '87's were 305 Chevy's too?

In the Parts book, Export Regals have a H vin - 305 LG4. Available Transmissions are TH200C 3 speed (MV9) or TH2004R 4 speed W/Overdrive (MW9)

Sure, if it's a Chevy engine. Otherwise it would require an adapter plate.

We kinda got screwed out of the cool stuff. Pretty much everything sold up here since the 60’s was Chevy powered or “unique” for Canada. My ‘67 Bonneville was imported and next to impossible to find parts for.

If your central AB I have a 200-4R for cheap. You can have the cross member and everything you need to swap it in.

Could i use a turbo 400 trans with my sbc 305. I found one locally for 150.
