I was referring to the clutch release bearing, mechanical linkage.
Not shifter linkage. ;)
I was also referring to the release bearing. I understood these Tremec type transmissions required hydraulic set-ups & wouldn't work w/a traditional style mechanical release set-up.

I used Mikes Monte"s master bracket, it cleared my booster, 3/4" master and Howe 82870 slave, and my pedal is quite lite, While I bought mt tko 600 cpl years ago I had to modify trans tunnel for clearance. Love your car!

I guess it depends on what one it is, neighbor has a TKO600 behind a small block and was running the Z-Bar until last month when he put a Hydraulic setup in.

I looked at the display unit at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels show last spring & it didn't show any need of a hydro clutch. If I had the extra scratch in the budget I'd pick one up plus the shifter.

Yes, I could’ve used the stock linkage.

I bought the master cylinder kit from SST with the trans. I think they must make the master cyl. Mount/linkage assembly. It’s actually quite nice. The pieces sandwich the firewall making it very ridged. Fit and function is awesome but hit the 11” booster. There wasn’t specific instructions as to where to mount the assembly exactly. I think you could mount it lower but I put it where it fit the best. I really don’t mind the upgrade to the 8” dual diaphragm booster. You need to drill a 5/16 hole in the clutch pedal arm at 5.25" to mount the Heim Joint. I drilled one at 6" as well in case the pedal "feel" was too light I could move the heim down some.

I'd love to see how the trans was set up for shifter position.

How are you liking the 5 speed? And how is the TKX for shift feel?
Here are some pics of the shifter set up and the final install. There was plenty of clearance for the trans tunnel, no cutting needed there. I just had to move the original shifter boot mount and hole back about 2” to clear the body of the shifter.
Test drive was AWESOME! I could not be happier with the shifting of this transmission!!! I was worried that the clutch it would be a little aggressive and want to chatter some but it’s very smooth too. The clutch pedal is very light and has a lot less travel to disengage the clutch. I may drop the rod down some on the pedal to give it a little heavier feeling but I’ll leave it for now to see if I can get used to it.

That is definitely an interesting way to do that, looks like it works well.
