I don't mind paying a few extra $$ for quality products especially when it comes to safety. For winter wiper wipers I don't like the some of the "winter" advertised wipers that freeze and/or clog up with snow. I looked at winter wipers reviews last year and bought the Trico Extreme Weather Ice blades last winter. They worked great but when taking my Jeep out this year the blade on the driver's side was torn. It's like the pressure of the arm resting on the blade cracked the rubber of the blade when the blase is attached to the body of the wiper. It's parked in the summer under trees so the wiper was not sun baked. The passenger side wiper is in perfect shape. It's only about $30 for a new blade but I don't like throwing away money if I don't have to so I emailed Trico yesterday about the issue never thinking I'd get a reply but I received an email back today saying they are sending me a new wiper. I like companies who stand behind their products......
