I have a question about Dual hump crossmembers. I have been looking online and the cheapest one I found was from Jegs and it says it fits every G-body except for Cutlass Supreme. It even fits Cutlass, and Cutlass Salon, but according to them it will not work with a Cutlass Supreme. Can anybody tell me why that is or if they have a cutlass Supreme and have used this style before. Please let me know. Also, G-bodyparts.com has one for 150.00, but it looks flimsy. Same question, anyone used it on theirs? Thanks for the help.

The Cutlass Supreme thing is just a myth that somehow managed to make its way from the header companies that claim headers will fit all chassis except for the Cutlass Supreme. Even the header claim is a myth.
The G-bodyparts crossmember looks very similar to the "Iceman" crossemembers. Shouldn't have an problems with them being to flimsy. In all honesty, the Jeg's and G-force crossmembers are really over-built for the application.

just an fyi I bought one for my monte and my headers dont line up, i called jegs and they told me that the crossmember was designed to be used with flotech headers pt#11104flt and the crossmember was also designed for factory v8 cars and will not work on 6cyl g bodies... food for thought, might give them a ring.
