BUILD THREAD Trying this again

Fellas! It's been a while since I've been back on the forum. If anyone remembers I was going to do the Buick 350 swap in my Regal. Unfortunately it never came about. Moved into a new house got married and I just didn't have the time or cash to ever finish.

However I'm back at it now that work is going great and settled in with the wife. Also got another car to use while the regal is under construction.

I ended up calling TA performance and I am having them do all the work on my engine. It needs a rebuild and who better than the Buick pro's. The Pres Mel will be coming by my house this weekend to pick up the block and heads to drop of for me since they are only open Mon-Fri 8-5. Exact hours I'm at the office. Plus I have no truck to get it there lol. Anyways I already removed the front clip and engine is ready to pull. Coming out this weekend when Mel comes through....I'll post my progress on this new thread. No turning back now!

OK boys while the engine will be getting worked on by the good ol' boys at TA Performance I will be trying my first attempt at a quadrajet rebuild. Just got my kit. I've been watching a sh*t load of videos. Reading up. But one can never have enough info or tips. All are welcome.

Oh and yes she's a keeper lol she helps with the car when u need small hands in those tight spots especially when I drop a wrench that somehow seem to get wedged in all the wrong places. Or I need someone to hold a wrench to keep a bolt from spinning. Also makes sure I'm hydrated with cold one's on ice in the garage ☺

Damn also found a running BBB 455. For 400 bucks. ...rebuilt 350 or BBB 455 ?oh so many options

Mel man did me the huge favor and loaded the rear in his truck. He is swinging by tomorrow so we can pull the 4.1 and load the 350 to drop off at TA. I'll probably do a quick paint job on rear end and swap it out.

Mel came through as promised. We pulled engine and transmission. Oil everywhere but it is OK lol. I used chicken bedding and it soaked it right up. Tomorrow I'll clean engine bay.figure out what to do with the 8.5 and figure out what transmission to use. ..350 or 400.....decided to go with small block buick. ..already dissasembled. And ready to ship to TA
