I've been thinking about buying a set of Chinese headers offered on E-bay. I can't find any feedback about them other than criticism of them on turbobuick.com. They're all afraid to say anything good about them because they themselves will be criticized. I'm sure there were problems with them when they were first offered, but I haven't been able to find any negative or positive comments about them, but one thing is for sure ...... people are buying them, and for good reason. Buying those offered by Turbo Buick vendors cost over $800. I actually run a set of TA headers on my GN. Hell, I'd like another set, but not for $800. Any thoughts?

Well for the price I would try them, I have some polished stainless SBC headers I bought from Ebay for my Regal and have yet to use them but the weld quality is good with a nice finish for less than a set of painted Hedmans would cost and they clear everything on mock ups.
All of my fabricated valve covers 2 sets of BBC and these SBC are also Ebay parts and are all high quality, with excellent fit and no issues.

That's basically what I was thinking. I'm thinking, no matter what any fitment problem there might be, if there are any, it could be repaired, but if it's really bad, I just return them for refund.

I'm hoping someone here has purchased and installed these successfully and will say so.

Not sure about your headers , but the Chinese sbc intakes are JUNK ! they come with castings so rough you almost think its a joke until you lay some fel-pro intake gaskets on them and look at the fitment and realize hear is the joke ! I understand the temptation to buy inexpensive parts but remember the old saying [ THE BITTERNESS OF POOR QUALITY REMAINS LONG AFTER THE SWEETNESS OF A LOW PRICE ! ] Most people on here know , when it comes to [engine parts especially ] you get what you pay for !

I'm just waiting on a 15% coupon from ebay and then order it. As the man before said, almost everything is made in China already. Yeah, you'd be hard pressed to find anything that isn't.

And to get what you pay for, you should have to spend 4 times the amount, as in $800 from TR vendors? The level of incompetence in America these days is incredible, and so is the level of greed, so I no longer buy into "you get what you pay for" canard as I once did. That idea went to the wayside decades ago.

I almost bought a set, but I found a good deal on factory headers so I didn't. Warwagon has the little bit older version and he loves them. I still am thinking about buying a set to cut apart to make Series 2 turbo headers. I like how well my old 3.8 runs. Once it blows up I don't know if I will build my Series 2 or a 4.1. What do you need another set of headers for??
