Stop it.

Don't give up. This is how you learn. Trial and error. Test and re-test.

Problem solving is a skill that must be learned. It tests your patience, always, but when you persevere, and are eventually successful, you'll be amazed at how good it will make you feel. Not only will you have fixed the problem but you will have learned a new skill, that you can apply over and over again.

It's just nuts and bolts. A man designed it and assembled it. No reason why you can't take it apart and put it back together.

What year is your car? What harnesses are cut up? And where are they cut?

Post up some pics and vids of what you are dealing with.

PM me directly and I'll help you out further if you like.
