MALIBU Turn signals work but no brake lights

On my 81 Malibu the rear turn signals work but the brake lights do not.
Any ideas where to look?

Check the brake pedal switch first.

first check your 4 way and if they don't work check the fuse......if fuse if good check the brake light switch, get out your tester and see if you have power in and power out

The brake light problem was solved by replacing the brake light switch.
