So I'm almost done with my 6.0 turbo t56 with Ac GN swap and now I'm down to the wiring. I would like to know what wires I need to keep from the stock GN harness that runs from drivers side to passenger side. I know there are some wires I can delete out of it. Anyone have any experience with this. Also any good wiring diagrams floating around? Harness I'm talking about is the one near the windshield. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the response. I ended up just tucking the original harness in with my LS swap. I was wanted to know what all the wires were for in that harness so I could thin it out

Yeah, that's why I looked at that video. Everything was simple once I removed the passenger side harness. Only ac wires and wires that's only needed for the swap. A whole lot cleaner.

You are best off unbolting the GN engine harness and buying a carb V6 or V8 engine harness from 83+ to use. The GN harness has a ton of extra stuff that the LS swap doesn't need. Spark control, sensors, cruise stuff, etc.

The fuse panel bulkhead has 2 arms, one goes to the chassis for lights, and the other one goes to the engine. Theres a 7mm bolt that holds the entire harness in. You can pull the plug loose and unsnap the engine harness side and snap in a cab harness.

Unless you are using the GN harness to trigger the starter solenoid, which I assume you would? There isn't much that harness provides to an LS swap unless you want to use stuff like the GN dash tach, oil pressure or coolant temp idiot lights.
